About ntmway
I am Eric from Sarawak , Asia. In 1997 I went to Malaysia for the Baha'i volunteers service. I went to the villages far from town, some places I need to walk for one day , there was no main road. I travelled by motorcycles or walking through the jungle for 3 to 4 hours. Some place even took 1 day journey in the jungle. I went there for three months at one village teaching villagers, the native of Malaysia to read and write. Then I move to other village again. Here were far from civilization, no tape water, electricity and road. House were scatter quite far from each others.
About 4 years I have been staying in the deep jungle with little proper food, sometime we survie on topica and jungle food and fruits. I had been attacked by malaria, 2 times I was suffering a very cold and hot attack by malaria and was admitted to hospital for 6 days once. The virus attack the head and the liver. Somtime very cold and somtime very hot. And I shiver for 1 hour and can hear the bed shaking.
During my life in the native, one day I had a tootchache and hardly get any medicine. Then one native boy gave me a plant and asked me to chew it in the mouth. I hardly believed it but I put in my mouth to chew, suddenly a hot taste and numb all around the mouth, my pain stop. Thats great. Latter I found out in the net it is call Spilanthes Acmella, the toothach plant, also this plant have many medical value like a pain killer. When I came back I took back this plant and now I have quiet a number of this plant. Very easy to plant. It can be send out by post. But I didn't try planting with seed.
In 2004-2008 I went to Cambodia for Baha'i services, I design & built 6 schools in the villages in different provinces in Cambodia. I also visit the famous Angkor Wat in Seam Reap, Cambodia. I went to Thailand and Vietnam. If you're interest in seeing Cambodia, I can give you some guidelines. I also found another mirical plant here called Moringa, the tree of life. Moringa is very nutritious and contain vitamins and mineral. I used to take the young leaves and fried with eggs, very delicious. These leaves can even cure 300 disease.
When I came back from Cambodia I find out my friend Mr. Balan had started planting moringa and produce the leave into powder and pills for sale. Now I also sell some moringa powder to friend.
