About gardendude

Hey, my name's Rudy and I am a college student majoring in horticulture. I used to hate any kind of yard work but when I started helping my mom put together a garden in our back yard a few years ago, I realized I enjoyed being around plants and watching them grow...I felt like I was contributing something back to the earth. Since then I've continued to work on that garden and am taking classes at the community college. My plan is to eventually start my own landscaping business, buy some land out in the country and start a small farm, grow all kinds of organic crops and sell them. In the meantime, I work in the produce dept. at Kroger and am somewhat of a political activist (Ron Paul libertarian!)

Dwarf burfords on sale!

Mountain getaway pics
Just got back in earlier this afternoon from a wonderfully relaxing time at Graves Mountain Lodge, up in the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains. Three days of enjoying the company of friends, playing games, catching up, going on day trips to histo...
