is over in the earring department. The right earlobe is truly a mess. Had to remove the earring this morning. Will not take the left one out until I see how the inflamed earlobe reacts. Looks like I was not meant to do the piercing stuff.

IT IS COLD in the south today. 23 degrees this am with wind chill in the teens. Don't know how you northerners do it. I didn't like it when I did live in it and choose not to live in it again.

Would you believe though that I have some tuff kinda Gailardia plants. Those boogers are still up and trying to bloom. So too the re-blooming iris. They are truly cold hardy.

Will be trying to settle up with Park Seed Co about my 'Red Hornlii Hibiscus' that didn't make it. Several friends and I went together and bought 11 of them. None of them did well and at least 5 just died. Guess I should see what I can trade for them before I ask for the money back.    Park seed says I waited too long to notify them. RATS!

Thought I had taken down all the Christmas but then found my Nativity Scene still on the mantle. Guess it just looked so natural there that I over looked it. May just leave it up for a while. I like seeing it there.

What about this writers strike? I agree that they should some percent off their work just like the people that are making money on the different shows from the internet. Only fair I think. The biggest drawback now is that there is even less to watch on TV than when they were working. Oh well, Lost will be back soon and a few of my favorite shows did have new scripts before the strike began so I will wait it out, sort my seeds and look through the gardening catalogs.
