This was the strangest thing ever. I couldn't figure out why there was a pile of dirt in the carporch after I had already swept. I looked all around the pots on the ledge to see if a squirrel had been digging, but there was no sign of that. I looked and looked, but there seemed to be no reason for this pile of dirt!
Then I spied a bunch of "aliens" growing in a pot with the pink arrowhead, pushing out the soil. It looks like squash seedlings or something like that. I can't imagine how those seeds got into the pot, especially in such a thick grouping like that -- all in a wad. I pulled out most of them but then thought to get a picture of it.
Strange things go on here at the Bucolic Bungalow!

The life force is strong isn't it? Nice looking plant though. The strong will be the only survivor in my gardens this year. The heat really beats me up. So glad it is at least cloudy out today and glad you have gotten some rain.

I would love to see a squrriel we have nothing like that here, think we are missing out on some wonderfull wild life,although have heard they are considered pests.Still cute though!..
