Hip, hip, hooray! Three cheers for the rain! We got 1 3/10ths inches last night. Hubby and I were trying to figure out how to start toting water again this morning, but thank goodness, we had rain and we won't have to do it now.
I've been trying to participate in the forums, read and comment on as many blogs as I can, but with our time restraints, it's near impossible. Most of our day is spent traveling to therapy, and that doesn't leave much time to do anything else. The side-effects of the therapy are starting to rear their ugly heads, too. This will be a long haul, but we're still trying to keep the gardens going. Hubby loves it so much. He was proud of his first red, round tomato. (He doesn't think much of the Romas. "They don't look right.")

Roma's don't look right but make excellent mater sauce and delicious in salads! So thrilled you go rain! I am so delighted that our deficit is only 5" and not 16 like alst year! Now I need to get outside with the tiller and rid my yard of more grass...excuse me! Dee |

Hey witt.. glad you got some rain. And I totally understand about the therapy thing. I just went thru 6 months, 3 times a week myself. And hubby has therapy he has heart/pulmonary therapy..we need an electric van:) |

I totally understand busy lives, with little time to do what we want. You take it easy and we'll still be here waiting for you pop in say hi when you can :) |
