About wild4hummers

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 18 years and have two wonderful children, a boy and a girl.  Growing up, most of my summers were spent gathering some sort of produce - corn, squash, peas, okra, tomatoes, etc., and then helping prepare it for canning or freezing.  As a young girl it was NOT my most favorite thing to do, but now that I am older, spending time in my garden is one of my most favorite places to be and is the most relaxing!  I just read recently, on the forum, gardening described as "dirt therapy" - Now my most favorite saying and pass time!

I enjoy flower gardening and just recently have gotten into vegetable gardening - in trying to carry on the legacy...  You can read more about me and my family at our website:
