I am a 36 year old mother of three kids.  One boy (8) and two little girls (7&3) .  I am happily married to my dear husband of 10 years, and work from home.  My husband  works in the oil patch, and is away between 3-5 weeks at a time.  He built me my greenhouse as a refuge from the daily stresses life gives.  I love my special place.  I had always dreamed of having my own greehouse since I was a very small child.  I finally got my first one about 7 years ago.  It is a dream come true.

I start all the flowers you will see in my greenhouse.  I purchase my seeds, and wait very impatiently for spring to arrive so I can plant my crop.  I begin to plant many things in January, and then monthly I add more and more until I have sewn all that my greenhouse can handle...Summer in Canada is not very long...so we make the absolute most of what we get!

Hello? Spring? are you coming?
     I woke up this morning to a white yard and gardens....the signs of spring are all hiding under about 10 inches of snow.  I realize that this is normal spring weather for Alberta, but that does not make it any easier to look at.    Just two days ...

finally!
Well....the cold snap has taken a little break.  It is only -17 C here today!  feels like spring compared to last week!  I was scared that the cold weather was going to be too much for y greenhouse...I had some frozen water one morning...and freaked ...

It is just soooooo cold outside...-49C with the wind chill.....I am impatiently waiting for spring to show up.... January is  the beginning of my gardening season....I have already got the second set of leaves on the geraniums in the greenhouse!  ...
