So yesterday I decided that I wanted more garden, so I took over the lawn that had been next to the stream I redid. I put now weed barrier, and I just need to convince the hubby to put in edging so I can add the rock. Since the area is next to the stream is really is just too soft to be lawn, and makes a much better bog garden. 

I even did a trip to my favorite nursery to pick up a comple of accent plants. 

So once it is done there will be more pictures....

One of these days I might just get crazy and take my hubby up on taking over the front yard. Although that project is a little much, since he wants to create a nice patio space in the middle of what will be the garden. In order to do that, new drainage has to be dug and lots of grass needs to be taken up.

Although maybe someday...for now, just stealing patches here and there.
