Hi!
My name is Terry. I'm a wife, a mom to six girls, grandmother to three. I'm also a "witch". I believe that the garden is one of the most important places for me (and for everyone actually!). Everything in the garden shows the cycles of life and teaches us to respect our earth. I think it is a special trsut our plants place in us to care for them.
I love floral gardening, but also am planning my first veggie garden in an number of years again, this year! I am so excited! I've planted my seedlings for my herbs already, and am beginning to work the section of the yard for the raised lasagna garden.
If I am not gardening, I am reading (up to three books at a time, ranging from historcial fact/fiction to inspirational wise woman books to a few novels thrown in for good measure. I also work on my family geneology alot, and have traced my mother's family to 1360. I love to cook, and am writing a cookbook presently. Testing the recipes may make me gain weight, which maybe isn't great, but the food is oh so good! lol
