We live on top of a sand hill. We had a small garden last year more as an experiment than as a plan to what we needed to do. We know our cucumbers, tomatoes and kershaw squash did well with the addition Manure Tea. This fall we are planning ahead. We are layering cardboard, non-waxed, and leaf mulch in each garden plot we have chosen. We will top dress it with aged manure and then another layer of leaf mulch. Top dress again in the spring and mix it all together to create our own soil.

 Once I get a chance I will take some photos and post them for each stage of the game.
