It has been an interesting couple of days here at soapHOUSE. Two days ago, we had the largest flock of black birds I have ever seen in my neighborhood. There must have been 500 of them - I am not exaggerating! They would all fly together and land together. At one point they were all in our backyard:
I know its hard to see - these pictures were taken on my phone...but, see that "shadow" behind the azaleas? Thats not a shadow - those are birds!!!
They must have known that we were about to have snow!
Boy, did they have the right Now I know to some of you - this is laughable - especially when you may be covered with a foot or more, but in my neck of this woods, this is a BIG deal and the city pretty much shuts down. After all - it is a windchill factor of 2 degrees - BURRRRRRRRRR

Atlanta gets lots of the same weather we do here in my part of SC and it is so rare that we have this freezing weather. So glad we dodged the snow bullet along with Witt.

Hi Everyone! I am not totally sure what type of bird they are, flyfisher...they are a pretty good size and black? It was pretty amusing watching the dogs reaction too!

We too have had gigantic flocks of crows around. By 5pm they are covering the power lines in town....The Birds movie scared the living daylights out of me when I was a child(probably would as an adult too!)-really looks like it!!!! ~Andrea
