Wish me luck! Found a contest on a different gardening site that I also frequent that is having a contest to win a free voodoo lily!! Yippee! And it's open to everyone, so if any of you are interested, LMK!

Finally, a weather forecast without snow! We have actually gotten over 9 ft in the last 2 and a half weeks. This is the first Monday & Tuesday for 3 weeks that the interstate wasn't closed! Maybe we are going to be through with winter finally! And it's supposed to be 45 for a high tomorrow.

Well, I've been saying that we are REALLY tired of winter, and all we get is more snow, so I thought that I would post this pic of our part of the country. Hope that you all are enjoying your spring weather! :) LOL

Seems every Monday and Tuesday we now have blizzards! This is only the second week in a row, but when we've had snow on the ground and cold weather for months, we are ready for spring! I am so jealous of all of you who actually get to work outside! I did get some grass seed out in the so-called lawn right before this last snow! We are trying to build a beautiful lawn for the grandkids, (and us) so we just keep reseeding! Hopefully, it being buried under the snow will help green up the yard when spring actually does arrive here. Eventually, we are hoping it works! I finally figured out how to load pics, so now am very happy! I will have to get more on here now that I know what I am doing, but I did get a couple of our furry family and the grandbabies! Never claimed to be computer savvy! Have a great day all!
I really enjoy reading all the posts from all of you who are in spring time already. They just got the interstate open yesterday, after being closed for 2 days due to the blizzard! Some of the snow actually melted yesterday, it was that nice, but guess what? It's snowing again now, and we are supposed to get more tomorrow too. The best part? My crocuses and tulips and daffodils were coming up, so with a few nice days, I will have flowers blooming in the snow! Nothing prettier and more fun! Anyway, thanks for all the comments about nice weather elsewhere, as it keeps us going knowing spring will be here soon also! What's another 30- 45 days, anyway! :)
