what a beautiful day it is out..makes me think spring is coming sooner than I know it is. anyway some of you know that I have made comment about the cooper's hawk being around well yesterday I was at the kitchen window and I saw sitting on the picnic table a big sorta bird. well I ran to get my binoculors and saw what was a Falcon..ya I couldnot believe it. Of course by the time I ran to get my camera he had flown away. the grandkids were all there looking so it took me a minute to regain my senses to run for it.. It sorta looked like the hawk but smaller..wow..I am pleased.

I'm so lucky to live in an area where we see all those eagles, hawks, falcons, buzzards all the time. It gives us great pleasure. |

I always love to see the Falcon! It surprises you in a great way! You'll get a photo next time I'm sure. I usually see one once in a blue moon on my way home from work. |
