hello everyone..I hope that all of you are in good health and enjoying the weather. I have neglected this site for awhile, because I have been on FB.
Anyway I just wanted to sent out a little note..I had to remove my beautiful pink rose bush from the front of the house. In my old GG profile I had a picture of it . she was as tall as the house and had many rose's on it. I believe I mentioned before that she had the blight (I call it) bad I tried to cut her back a few times and this season tried new dirt and fertilizer but she just would not responded :( so out she went and there is a big hole waiting for something else.
I have been wanting to till up a small patch of grass that is in front of this bush's spot..
This is the spot of grass I wanna till up and just have more flowers instead..roses bush's i believe. Also it will make it easier for my husband to mow , and don't we wanna make things easier for our love ones.
One other thing the flies have been driving me crazy!! those green ones yuck every time you open the door 2 fly in and they always go into the window and move up it so I can't get the flyswatter at them.
Hockeygirl if you read this I have no sign of a morning glory this year either. I must have got a dud.
I hope everyone enjoys their summer.
this was the scene this morning at my house..
It was sunny and warm last week and this weekend ..ya you see it.
The day was just beautiful yesterday..I was able to be out in it at work..we painted a no parking zone in the parking lot ..That is what I like about my new job I can always have a surprise job at some point especially in the summer months to come..Today is my 1 year anniversary there..
So anyway today looks like it is gonna be a grand day too..I hope everyone can enjoy it.

what a beautiful day it is out..makes me think spring is coming sooner than I know it is. anyway some of you know that I have made comment about the cooper's hawk being around well yesterday I was at the kitchen window and I saw sitting on the picnic table a big sorta bird. well I ran to get my binoculors and saw what was a Falcon..ya I couldnot believe it. Of course by the time I ran to get my camera he had flown away. the grandkids were all there looking so it took me a minute to regain my senses to run for it.. It sorta looked like the hawk but smaller..wow..I am pleased.
