         I am a lover of nature,gardening and a sucker for animals and kids.I have been married to the love of my life for 33 yrs and have 2 grown children and 4 little grandchildren.We share 7 acres with our daughter, son in law and their kids.We live across the pond from each other.We also have  a son .He and his wife and baby live about 20 miles from us.We are trying to get them to move closer to us.I'd be one happy camper!

              We live in a lovely little cottage our SIL(a builder) built for us 3 yrs ago. in Sunbury,Ohio I have a few old fashioned gardens and a zen garden that is still a work in progress.I have 7 hens and a rooster that are strictly pets.We have beautiful Koi and lots of other fish in  the  pond.The grandkids love to swim in it in the summer and ice skate in the winter.We have one lonely little mallard,we call" Ducky" who is spoiled rotten and calls the pond her home.Her best friends are" Ruby" a 3 yr old choc lab.,a( hunting dog) and "Lucky" a yellow  cat. They all play together,it's rather odd...I'm afraid one day the dog will get too rough and that will be the end of "Ducky"...

              

Oh,Happy Day!
         I just got back from the Doctor's office.I'm out of the walking cast and in an ankle brace.I 'll wear it for 4 weeks and then physical therapy.At least I can wear a shoe on my right foot again...heaven....       Hopefully,we'll get to lea...

Spring has sprung or has it....
        It looks like spring,it smells like spring,but is it really here.... The birds are starting to sing and are looking for places to make nests.The koi are visible   swimming in the pond and  act really hungry.I've been  on a cleaning frenzy lat...
