Well folks I just looked at my water bill for the last 30 days. It was 60 bucks. It normally runs around 25. We have not had any rain to speak of in several weeks. I need a good long soaker rain at my house, one that lasts 24 hours or so. In the mean time my tomatoes are doing well. I picked 10 or so today that were good and found only 2 that I had to throw away due to end rot. My snap beans are about done I am tired of picking them anyway so they need to stop producing. I sprayed my corn to keep the worms out and soon will be dealing with okra on a daily basis.
Our youngest son is going on a cruse with the 08 Senior Class. He will be gone a week. It's the first time away from mom and dad for that long of a time. He of course did not want his mother or I to come on the trip and help chaperone so we elected not to go. He will have two stops in Mexico on the trip. We have warned him about getting into trouble there. Last night my wife was in a panic about swimmers ear meds. He cannot swim without getting one or both of his ears messed up. She said oh my nobody is going to be there to take care of him like momma can if he gets sick. So she is making sure he has everything he could possibly need! Oh the growing pains.
Hope you are getting all the rain you need at your place. Have a good one.

It's probably best that you don't go. He'll be ok. Just DO NOT buy anything from a local. Best to stay in the shops and on the main roads!! For your tomatoes, use Ferti-lome Yield Booster. I got it from Currie's, but I'm sure Greengate probably has it. Mr. Currie said it's strong calcium, so use it once, and wait a while to see results. My tomatoes didn't have it, but my squash did, along with THE VIRUS!
