I friend gave me a packet of Sweet Pea flower seeds. I was not sure how they would do but I planted them anyway. As the week went by, I anxiously awaited the new seedlings to join me atop the soil. Nothing it seemed was happening.
A few days ago, I check and I was so suprised when 2 had come up. I was so happy. I thought that 2 out of 6 seeds planted wasn't bad for a beginner. I just looked and 2 more have come through the soil. It was hard to see at first because of the clover I also have there was acting as camoflauge. But they are coming up and I feel like a new mommy.

I have some sweet peas to plant myself. Will let you know how they do. I bought a whole pack and plan to plant most of them. Hope they don't take over! LOL! |

I plan on attaching more pictures as they grow. My packet said they would grow up to 6 feet tall. I didn't pay much attention to that before I planted them right by my porch. Guess I'll have a green railing before it's over. :-) I'll definately keep you posted! And thank you yardgranny6 for the comment on my wedding ring. I used to have sweet peas and I loved them, but somehow (no surprise) they died out. I have tried starting them several times since with no success. I don't know what I'm doing or not doing, but I'll try again, of course! |
