This morning I walked around the yard as I try to on the mornings that I am home. I wanted to see what had happened in my little backyard world while I slept.
The feelings I get these days are like those of childhood. When you're a child and the excitement of Christmas comes and you can barely stand it. This morning was like that. The rain came while I slumbered and much to my suprise this morning, more Iris had bloomed. I thought I had seen it all yesterday when I had 20 Iris bloomed along the back of the house, but no....
This morning there were 30+. I just can't take it anymore. The beauty surrounding me is almost too much!

I do the same thing in the morning when I can. It's raining this morning and it's predicted to rain all day. I just love to take inventory of the daily surprises. Merry Christmas to you and enjoy your surprises. Bill Mitchell |

Aww, yes ...the morn has come...time for an adventure into the rewards of our calling... So happy to hear how your garden is growing or might I say opening up...lol Mine are standing so tall...Just on verge of opening up. The rains came last night..here too..Have a good day... That is waaaaaay cool! I'm in east Tx and the iris' I have are not blooming..yet. I am getting plenty of rain. I only found that there were two in bloom last year. now I know I have more and await their bloom to move them. Very pretty..I like the curve of your walk:) |

Oh it is so wonderful to see things blooming again. I was out this morning and took pictures. It was just great! |
