last year i tried annuals around my young trees and I will never go back to mulch, the annuals filled in so nicely that it looked so much better then mulch

Welcome to GG! I don't know that if planting annuals together would keep out my aggressive weeds! Maybe I'll give that a try this year. |

Honeysuckle just knows no barriers any more than wild bermuda which puts roots 6 feet down into the earth. Must be one of the devils favorite plants. |

Haha YG that is funny. I love Susie Bales and she says a tree is not fulled dressed without a 'petticoat' of flowers around it. I agree and am trying to dress all my trees. |
