Well, from a long time ago whenever i would go outside for "Mom time ", I would invite the kids and tell them i was going out to play in the dirt !! that appealed to them alot so i usually had some helpers . We had some neat herb gardens , and butterfly gardens, and daisies.. We had some good green beans , but not enough of them , strawberries , which the birds always seemed to take off with better . i think  I even had a few zucchini ( hey Mom, Mrs groghan says she is growing bikinis out back !!)We had alot of fun one summer when these huge worms and caterpilar likem  things attacked the garden .We were trying to be organic so we were out there picking those bugars off the plants and smashing them left and right .

Today , the kids are grown and I am in an apartment but  am going to attempt a few things from seed and bulb. Freesia bulbs , because i love their smell.. Morning glories because they are so happy looking, lobelia, because they are one of my favorite cascading from a hanging planter...and a butterfly garden because they had one up front last summer when i moved here and it was so pretty and the butterflies dancing around here were fun.. So pray for me , no kidding I hope this  works ..
