About oakleafgardens
I am a mother of three boys and married to my highschool sweetheart!
I have been gardening since I was a small girl and still have the passion today as I did then.
I have been planting many Natives in a new garden already this spring. I have 3 very large old
Oak trees, Cedars, and Magnolia that were existing. I have added a bottlebrush buckeye, parsely leaf Hawthorn, Plum leaf azalea, and one of my favorite plants the Oakleaf Hydrangea.
Still much to do and I have started several cuttings to fill in some more of the shady areas of the garden.
I am also a member of the National Wildlife Federation and have my yard Certified for a Wildlife Habitat.
I just couldn't imagine not being in the garden!
