About mysteryluvr54

Love having my morning coffee on the porch to start my day.  I watch the birds and animals busily working.   I look over my yard and all the work we have done to make it beautiful and what we can add to it each new season.    I like reading humorous mysteries.   I take Yoga and aerobics classes and walk.   I love to cook and try different dishes.    I like to travel.

I've been enjoying capturing nature with the camera this year.  I've been watching things more closely now while trying to get a good shot.   My neighbors probably think I'm nuts, but. . .

2008 - not much has changed.  OK I now have a full-time job that is keeping me away from my garden.  With 3 kids in college what can you do.  I still have my evenings and weekends to tend to things and my oldest has taken to watering the pots and garden for me.  I'll miss the preschoolers and office work is boring, but the pay is much, much better which is what we need right now.   I'm trying my hand at  Certified Nursing Assistant classes.  So far so good.  I enjoy being around people and helping so maybe this will be a field for me.  It's not leaving me with much time to garden, but hopefully when my life settles down, I can get back into it.

Wow, haven't been here since Sept.  Happy New Year and hopefully better than last year.  We've had a ton of snow and rain and sleet.  Today the sun was out and it felt good.  I can see the grass again.   I was hired as a full-time employee at the com...

Life has thrown me a curve ball

Still a good summer
Weather's been great this year.  I like it in the high 70's and with low humidity.  With 3 kids in college I've had to take on a full-time office job so no more preschool fun.  I have to get use to being away from home & garden and only being abl...

Almost perfect summer. . . shhhhh!
Seems like an almost perfect summer, weatherwise.  Not too hot, not too cool, but I hate to say anything and ruin it.  Went away to set my daughter up at school and came back to what appears to be a baby corn and some baby cucumbers in my garden....

Drying up a bit
We finally have some nice days after hot, humid rainy days.   The garden is looking good.  I've done some thinning and weeding, but need to wait till it dries out some more and see what's what.  Peonies would have looked pretty, but too waterlogged t...
