The last couple of weeks have been busy with council, committee meetings and six trips back and forth to Guelph, a distance of about 35 miles, in preparation for my knee replacement scheduled for Friday of this week. I managed to get all my veggies planted, but still need to put in a few more watermelon and canteloupe, along with dill and my gladiolus. I hope to get that done early this week. Don't expect to be too mobile for a while after surgery, but will have more time for blogging.

Sending prayers your way.My husband had a knee replacement a few years ago and did very well.He is do to get the other knee done in the spring. They say they are a lot more advanced then they were years ago. You'll be so glad you had the replacement. Its been very painful I'm sure.Take care and good luck. You're in my thoughts and prayers....

Thanks, everyone, for your kind thoughts. I'm so determined to be mobile again. It always blows my mind when you southern gardeners are talking about gardens winding down when mine is barely coming up.
