This past weekend we were able to see the sun, yes it is still up in the sky.  Unfortunately Saturday was the best day but I had to work at a Gardening Seminar and got to sit by the window and look out at the beautiful sunshine.  But it wasn't a bad day, the vendor next to me, my favorite independent plant vendor had a 2 foot Meyer Lemon tree with 5 lemons riped on the tree.  While needless to say it is in my greenhouse now, an early Valentine's present!  Also there was a vendor of hardy fushias from Woodburn, Or.  I learned that yes I can plant the hardy variety in sun, they will survive so I came home with 10 hardy fushias.  So all in all it wasn't too bad a day.

 Sunday we had overcast but I got to get out in the yard and worked for about 6 hours, the body is sore today.  But I got clean up done and planted some new roses, moved 28 boxwood plants and did a variety of other chores.  It felt so good to be outside again.  Spring is just around the corner I can feel it.
