I have worked with plants and in outdoor markets since I was a kid, My first job was picking pumpkins in a pumpkin feild which after one year I thought that I'd do something a little less laboring so I moved to the market and worked  there and as far as less laboring goes, I was wrong. I had eventually taken on other interests and left gardening and plants on the back burner, until recently.....

I have a total respect for plants,nature and eating straight from the ground. It's amazing to me that you can start with this little seed and wind up with something so beautiful and yummy.

I have a lot to learn and I am currently working on opening up a local nursery with a community garden and farmers market once a week. I would like to stay pesticide free and make it as natural as possible. I also want my place to be a location for children to come to to learn how to take care of the earth and themselves through farming and gardening. I think our society as it is now has lost the concept of growing there own food and working a little bite harder for things. We need to restore these old traditional concepts and strive to make our earth a little more green.
