I finally found my camera to take pics and upload them. I just moved here last November so this garden is new, as of this year. So if it looks sloppy and not very put together that's because it is sloppy and not very put together, well that and I planted everything late. One of my cannas bloomed though. It's the first one in my garden to bloom. It's a mess and needs some planning through. I plan to organize it this fall and spring so next year it will be bigger and better than ever.

In the garden I moved my sedum to a spot which it will stay for two-4 weeks then it will be moved again as I prepare the area for tulips, daffodils and more lilies. I seperated my coreopsis (from Walmart) into three. I started planning where I will move things in the fall to make room for the spring blooming bulbs. I drew up a plan and will end up moving several things around. Hopefully the garden will be bigger and better than this year.

I weeded today and happened to yank out stinging nettle. My hands have felt funny ever since. This weed grows pretty good around here, but what weed doesn't?. My salvia from Walmart is blooming and my sedum is almost done. The coreopsis refuses to quit blooming and looks great. I deaded my mums, I think I overwatered because they look pretty upset. Some lilies I planted late are blooming just now. I beautiful bright pink one, a white and yellow one. While my other lilies are going to seed.The cannas are getting tall. Sunflowers are blooming. My stella de oro is getting buds on it to rebloom. The moss roses are blooming in every color but blue and black.Delphinium went to seed, zinnias are colorful, hostas just finished blooming, and the liatris look great. The dahlias are blooming, and the only thing dying are my gladiolus.

I bought some cheapy flowers from walmart and getting out of that pot must have been just what they needed. They hit the garden and doubled in size in 2 weeks. I wasn't expecting that so now they are overcrowded. I am so happy though, everybody thought I was wasting my money because they were looking sad in walmart. Now they have out grown my nursery plants.
