Well, I guess I can tell you that I just really love to work in the yard, to plant things, and to... hopefully watch them grow! When I was a child, I remember helping my mom with the flower beds- weeding, planting bulbs, watering, walking around the house with her to make sure everything was being tended to. Maybe that's where it rubbed off on me.
I have had a home- well- an actual yard of my very own for almost two years now (2008 is my 2nd summer here). A lot of good honest work has gone into the yard- It was pretty much- not much of anything to look at when I started. I have also had much appreciated help from my boyfriend, and both of my parents. I guess we all like keeping busy, and making the most of what is here. A transformation has taken place- and I guess my favorite part is just stepping back, taking a deep breath, and looking around. It's nice to sit outside and enjoy whenever I have the opportunity.
