Well, we received a little rain late this afternoon.  I went out for my evening walk, it's like walking in pea soup.  The humidity is very high.  Yesterday, we went down to the White River.  As always, it was beautiful.  That must have taken it out of Hubby.  He's very tired today.  It was a two napper!!! It's just been about 6 weeks since his surgery.  But, he is having more good days than bad. 

I have a new plant coming up in the garden.  I think it may be a "volunteer" or maybe it was in a packet of seed that was sown.  It's a long stem  with yellow flowers.  I think, maybe, it may be Nicotinea......Has anyone heard of it? I think I remember seeing it in a botany book somewhere.  Not really sure.....at first I thought it might be a weed. But, I decided to leave it.  It blooms toward evening. It must be at least 2 ½ feet tall. I love surprises like that.

The deer are very active tonight.  I guess they're getting ready to ravage my roses. The little B*******!!!!!!! They stand there and look at me, with "That" look in their eyes. I know what they'll do, as soon as it turns dark! The other day, I saw a big ol' snappin' turtle come up from the pond. Yhew......gives me the hebejeebees.

It's getting late, and I can hear the frogs just a singing away.
