The gardens are starting to look good. The banana trees have their first set of leaves. All the late fall plntings are looking good. I saw my first Copperhead, though. Don't like seeing that. It was a pretty big one. We've had thunderstorms blow through for the past couple of days. The pond is filling. It only has another four feet to go. The morning glories are taking off. Life is good.

Hubby is doing really well, after open heart surgery. He usually takes care of the upper garden, but I'll do that for now.

witt	Jun 3, 2008 \| 3:24 AM PST Oh, my. I didn't know that he'd had open-heart surgery. I do hope that he will recuperate wonderfully! Watch where you step. I try to be diligent myself, but sometimes I forget. Let's both be careful!
stereoman	Jun 3, 2008 \| 4:37 AM PST Of the three people I know who had open heart surgery recently, all three are doing better than they have in years! It's amazing what can be done, even for a person very advanced in years. Best wishes to your DH and to you!
