Love gardening.  Just moved to a new home about 1/2 mile from my previous one where I maintained 14 flower beds, and a few fruit trees.  Needed less work.

The soil here is a filled in swamp and challenging.  I had black mud before, but with the help of gypsum and two loads of chopped leaves a year, we maintained very workable flower beds.  The place was fenced and gated to keep deer at bay.  Here they roam the streets at night, but as yet do not get into the back yards.

My back yard is watered from 4 surrounding residences.  There is a lot of water in the back corner and along the back fence.  We do have our challenges, but are optimistic.
