We had a downpour this morning. Just an hour after I arrived here in the office. Like a brief outburst from nature, it suddenly poured and then stopped abruptly too - apparently, a passing cloud did it. Right this moment the sky is all blue and I can see from my window clouds drifting fast towards the south. Probably congregating there for another outburst? Oh, I would love to have some rain. Here in the sunny side of the world where I am, plants get the beating when the sun is up and fully bared! The weather here is "sunny fine", so unlike that in the northern part of my country, particularly in Luzon where people there experienced storms and flooding recently.
So, from my sunny side, I would like to share to you some photos. Most of them were taken in my small yard where I try to grow a variety of ornamental plants. Just click here. Hope you enjoy viewing.

I viewed your wonderfully artistic and beautiful photography and I am humbled by your talent. Bill Mitchell
PS. My father was stationed in Luzon and Mindanao during the Second World War. He took a lot of pictures of the Philippines, all black and white back then.

@Bill: Oh my, what can I say? Thank you so much! My heart swelled with your comment. :) Looks like I made a good impression on someone who is truly good in photography. I took the photos from my mobile phone actually. I like photography but never had the opportunity to really develop this interest and I am forever an amateur.
Oh, it's nice to know your father had been in our country. I think you mean Mindanao. That's in the southern part. I live in the Visayas Islands, in the middle part of the country - Cebu Island.

What kind of mobile phone you have? Those were awesome pictures. I don't think I have ever seen pictures from a phone that crisp and clear.
