I recently bought a hosta at a reduced rate. It had previously bloomed. The stalk is drying up. Do I cut this off?

As long as the stalk is dried up its ok- all the energy needs to go back to the plant otherwise. First I snip the dried flowers off-then the stalks when they're ready,makes it a little neater looking thats all. |
