I have missed reading the blogs sooooooo very much! The storms rolled through and my internet has been off and on for two weeks now. Had the cable company out from 2pm until 10:30pm and then problems until 11:30pm. But praise be..I finally have it all working.
Found 2 watermellon plants in my flower bed. Basset crunched one. But moved the other one. Hope the little darling makes it. I haven't grown watermelon in years. This will be fun to watch if it lives through the transplant!
Well, is late now and have caught up on how well everyone's gardening is going. Everyone have a Great Memorial Week-end. My Hubby will celebrate on Monday as he is a Vietnam Vet. I know he is not alone in all the guys and gals that were wounded over there and other conflicts that have plagued our people with wars. My heart goes out to them all.

We have just come from a wonderful Memoria Day dinner at church. A SS class sponsors it each year. They take pix of the vets and decorate with the good ole red/white and blue. Happy Memoria Day everyone. Linda B |
