i noticed that Bonsais are fairly popular among gardeners. I had never thought of Bonsais that much even though i have lived in Japan for a while. they seem so delicate and fragile. I never thought about them much until now. They are truely an ancient art. I think i like more bright and colourful flowers like primrose. Maybe later on i willl consider this miniature plant.

to stop ants from eating my flowers, i have put corn starch or corn meal. I have heard that the ants do not digest this well. When i thought about it at first, it seemd cruel, but how else? I love nature and bugs so it was a little hard for me. it is also for the sake of the daffodils, my second favourite flower.

You, see, I have a garden inside and out side. inside i grow from seeds since ths is Canada and is freezing cold. The outside garden is from flowers bought at the store. Most of my outside plants are strong to the cold weather. Inside grow Daisy, Sunflower, Basil, and Bean. Out side, I grow Hyacinths, Iris, ( whom which are dieing from the cold), Muscari or Grape hyacinth,( smells like grapes), Jack frost, ( best growing plant), English poppy, ( one flower doesnt have the middle yellow part. Strange), Cosmos,( being devored by ants), Marigold, ( pretty good), Assylums, Primrose that is 5 kinds of colour, and two kinds of Daffodils that are also being eaten by ants. My favourite, is obviosly the hyacinth which I have 2 of. One is purple( my favourite) and the other is pink.
When i accidentally cut a sunflower stem off, and put it in water, the roots grew back so if you cut one by mistake, just put it in water.
I am also putting used coffee grounds in my garden to increase worm activity.
