The weeds in my garden are going crazy!! the problem is I have too many garden beds, and when i think i am done... or well, i have to go back to garden bed # 1. Sorry that i am complaining but there is so much more to do! i want to move some plants that ... every year, they insist in coming up in a different spot. Plus i am sick of digging holes! and i want to have some time to stop and smell the flowers! If i had money, definitely a gardener would come handy... and then i could just ask: pull all the weeds, please dig 30 holes here ... and here .. and there. Wait! I plant the flowers! thank you! rsrsss! Dream on baby! and go back to... digging holes! rsrsss.

I took the whole week off. I had to study for my finals. It was sad, because on my break, i walked around the house, in my garden, and could not do a thing. There were weeds asking me to pull them off the ground, and i could not. I had no time. I wish some day, when i get older, i would have time to do every thing i love to do: be with my family, watch my garden grow and take care of it, and paint all the beautiful flowers that it has. That is not much is it?

While i was on the digging job, i decided to dig 2 more, to transplant 2 roses that were not doing so well on my rose garden( the previously owner rose garden) eventually when i get more ambiticious i will plant them on the right place, i hope. i am tired now, and i still have 3 more garden beds to go, Next week i have my finals, have to work 40 hours, plus and most my family to tend to. God help me!!!!!!

today i worked on my back patio. i added lavander all the way around it, i know they will do well there, because the only one i had there did very well, i just love them for tea, salads, and to put under my pillow. it gives a relaxing feeling, plus it is lovely. I moved many plants around ( from the previous owner). placed them on the spot i think they would be apreciated (do not no how to spell that world). Sorry i think and right out loud. Sometimes by the end of every spring i tell my self, i will never dig another hole, and still the following year there i am again. I have to post pictures.

I am knew with gardening as i already mentioned, but i think i can help some people with starting plants from seeds. It happen by mistake. I got a big glass jar with a top ( wallmart, marshalls, or home goods). I planted some tropical plants inside of it ( violets and others). This was over the winter, for my surprise every leaf of violet that fell , i got a new plant, and i waited 2 weeks and transplanted to a vase and put it back inside another jar until it would get stronger. GREAT! it worked, so i did the same thing with seeds. Guess what! With 2 days i had the seeds sprouting and growing right before my eyes! it works. Try it!
What you need:
White peebles, charcoal, and soil.
1 layer of peebles, 1 layer of charcoal, soil, and the seeds or plant. Enjoy!! Let me know if worked for you.

Today i finish cleaning my herb garden. I made a new pathway, and decided to frame the beds with bricks. It looks nice! Got all the flowers for my front porch, all planted too. Tomorrow i will plant a border of lavander on my back patio. My fish survived the cleaning i did on the pond. The roots of some irises are showing on top of the ground. I do not know if i should transplanted or not. Any one knows what to do?

For the last two days i have being cleaning my pond, which i made 2 years ago. Today was a frustating day, i knew i was going to get dirty and smelly, but what made me cry were the fish. I could not get them out, they were faster then i thought. Not realizing of what was happening, most of the water was out, and the fish had no were to go. I had to run to find a backet of water to put them in. That was the easy part, the hard part was to catch them, which i did, but falling in the muddy and cold pond was not in my plans. I had to catch them by hand, they jumped and fell on the ground, but i got them in the backet. After all of that i sat down i cried.

I am so happy!! Finally i can go outside and do some yard work. even though, gardening is new to me, it became my passion. Each year i learn more about my plants, what they like. ( some of them are a little spoiled, they love attention). My big problem is that when we moved to this house 3 years ago, the gardens were set up. I had no idea what was what. Some of the gardens were set up nice, but some were lacking background plants. it is missing something. Somebody, please help!
