About gridderus
I Grow a garden for vegtables, it's my summer hobby, plus we like eating them. I'm a mechanic my wife works in a shipping department. We have one daughter, one son, and one grandaughter. We built a patio two summers ago, and now we need info how to make a flower garden surrounding it.

This winter is a real winter
We've gotten spoiled up here the last few years, the winters have been pretty mild. This year it's about like it use to be when I was a kid. We still have 16" of snow on the ground, and 4" of ice on my grill which I'am dying to use again. Cabin fever...
My summer hobby Gardening
I don't have long growing seasons, but can grow all the vegtables I like. I start all the plant seeds indoors at the beginning of March.
