Cold, cold and colder

Yes, that is the forecast...more cold. So there will be more days below zero in the coming weeks, not just the below zero nights.   I read where 49 of 50 states have snow.  I don't believe that happens every winter, so maybe we are all special this year.   The garden catalogs look real interesting this time of year, and help to put a bit of color to things to look at.  Looking out the window today, not even birds are feeding, the cold blowing wind has kept them undercover of the evergreen boughs.    Thank you all for your prayers for hubby and his surgery.  We got home late in the evening, through all the traffic,  and were grateful for parking in the attached garage.  He's resting comfortably today.  So, I think we'll just let it snow over the next couple of days, live with the forecast,   eat hot soup and stay inside.  Thanks for your prayers.

mudpies	Jan 13, 2011 | 9:05 AM PST Ouch! That IS cold. It's about -8 (17 degrees Fahrenheit) here today. Overnight it dropped to -17 (1 degree F).
