Sticks n Stones,oh my aching bones!!

The big old oaks in my yard shook their heads and gifted me with twigs and sticks a plenty! So nothing to do but roll up my sleeves and go to work!I spent most of yesterday doing that before work. You know, gotta rake and burn BEFORE you can even begin to garden. Then the iris beds beckoned, and that new rose bush has to be planted. Then some rocks from out in the woods had to be hauled over to the new bed I got planned.... so, My poor husband came in from work and saw me sitting on a stump, and asked, "What's for supper"? He looked so funny when I answered,"Hows about a nice pot of sticks and stones!

Ain't that the truth. It takes forever to get things cleaned up before you can play in the flower beds. Supper? Who has time to stop for supper? |

witt, I always have time to eat,we threw some sammiches together! We would've ordered pizza, but they don't deliver out this far and I was way to tuckered to drive all the way to town,dirtdobber. |
