Man is it hot in this old farmhouse! It's gotta be about 110.My guess is that the wind shifted to the south west over night. My husband Richard keeps the woodstove crankin, cause he loves the heat and plus,we have a little grandbaby living here and he don't want her to get cold.But man this is ridiculous! I could spread potting soil all over thef loors and let my seeds sprout.I can read the headlines now,"Granny loses Mind " Oh, well.I rekcon I'll go outside and drink my coffee.Have a good day. Be cool,

yardgranny6	Mar 11, 2008 \| 6:43 AM PST Man I would have to open the windows. Now I have gotten over that 'hot flash' problem this past year, but still can't take the heat so to speak. Maybe that is why I don't like to cook. Stay cool, from one granny to another. Linda B
bsmitch	Mar 11, 2008 \| 7:09 AM PST That is more of a problem in a rural setting, because we use a greater variety of heating sources. We have an electrical heat storage unit that takes a day to heat up and a day to cool down and the weather changes in an hour. So some times it's too cool and some times it's too hot. Shortly it will all become air conditioning time. I'm drinking my coffee right now. You have a great day and stay cool. Bill Mitchell

garden98011	Mar 12, 2008 \| 12:28 AM PST Such a funny visual about the sprouting floor! I love a warm house as well, but that dry heat from a wood stove can be a bit much.
