Have mercy, did it pour down raining last night! I haven't seen it rain like that in quite a while.I was driving home with my youngest girl, Bambi Lee, and the heavens opened up! We were coming home from town and thank God there was little traffic on the country roads we travled.10 miles an hour.It was pitch black and the wind was wild. I love a good thunderstorm, but would rather not be out on the roads. Oh, well. Arrived safely home and Richard had the porch light on, a beacon of welcome.

It did quite a bit of damage to Pulaski county, which is next to us in Russell county. It dumped buckets of water on us. Now it's cold again for several days. yardgranny6	Mar 5, 2008 \| 7:47 AM PST Your wild weather story reminded me of a similar thing that happened to me. We were visiting friends in NC and coming home from the mall a huge storm came up. Such wind, stuff flying, pouring the rain, we finally found a service station and pulled there until it passed. We learned later there had been a tornado in that very area. Talk about chill bumps? and being thankful we escaped? We were one bunch of happy people. Linda B
grannylee	Mar 5, 2008 \| 2:50 PM PST Hope all is well at your place hillBilly. Storms can be scary,yardgranny,especially traveling. But we don't need to really fear, God has us just where he wants us to be each moment,huh?
