Gardening in Florida is awesome!!! After living in New England my whole life, fighting with Spring and Fall, this is a treat!  This passed January we started out garden, with one frost, we covered all the plants and made out okay.  Everything we plant is up in days and it is very exciting seeing all of out friends coming to see how fast everything is growing.  We have already picked green beans, pea pods and new for me is broccoli!  I went back to Massachusetts for a week and was amazed when I got back at how everything was doing, and that noone ate my first tomato as they threatened they would.  I think it should be ready to pick in  a week along with the other 2 that are catching up fast!  I even picked a little tiny carrot the other day, I just had to see one!!! It was little but one of the kids did eat it!  I think there isn't much we didn't plant, we forgot to plant brussel sprouts!  Maybe next week!
