Hibiscus blooms!

I brought this hibiscus (first two pics) home from Kroger last month...it was in very sorry shape due to excessive water on the leaves from the overhead sprinkler system. I planted it and just about every leaf turned yellow and fell off. Now it has almost completely leafed out again and blooming like crazy!
Bought this Rose of Sharon hibiscus a few weeks ago. Can't wait to see it grow!

Beautiful hibiscus. I have a Rose of Sharon (it's called a Lavender Chiffon) that I planted in my front yard. It reminds me of the one we had when I was growing up. Thanks for sharing pictures. |

I remember seeing a pic when you first planted the hibiscus. Wow. Isn't that a gorgeous bloom! Well done. The althea is pretty, too. Mine isn't blooming yet. |

Thanks everyone! I just checked on it again today and a ton more buds are opening! And I only water it once a week. No wonder they call it "hardy" hibiscus! :D |
