What's wrong with my compost bin???

I checked out my compost bin to get some soil but found out that it is tooooo wet. What did I do wrong? I did not have this problem last year. Last spring, the rich compost was almost perfect. Is it because I was away for too long that I wasn't able to turn it? Can anyone help me??? Solution please. I hate not being able to use what's in there this year. I may have to buy a sack or two of garden soil.

I would add some mulched up leaves or sphagnum moss or grass clippings to it and churn it up and in awhile it should be ok. Have a great day and happy gardening. Bill Mitchell |
