Just booked tickets to London 5/19-29, we will celebrate by 46th birthday at the show....well, that is as long as tickets are available that day, have to book those yet. I have not had a desire to visit London, love Italy, France, Austria,etc, but for some reason England does not entice me the least. I adore my sister-in-law & will enjoy the time spent with her family, plus I appreciate traveling with my husband-huge history buff w/excellent recall, we will have a blast.
I took three cuttings of my tropical hibiscus that I am over-wintering, new for me so we'll see how that experiment goes. Because you are all inspiring me with the seeds, I bought some annual vine seeds-the seem to be the fool-proof variety!
Cold, but sunny day. Off to help my husband set up his home show booth in Bellevue.

/) on the same day, to celebrate our wedding anniversary . With the PNW Garden show next month(Mosaic2007 & I are going), I should be chock full of over zealous plans!

dont blame you not being keen to visit our shores ...its not called rip off for nothing! ...take care. your dogs are darling ..we had two king charles for 15 years, alas they have both past away,we have a border collie now and she ,at 5 months is like a hyperactive toddler. Hi Valery, I am now looking forward to the adventure. There is really no particular reason I had no desire to visit, odd. You're right, I won't be bringing home a bunch of presents especially with our low $. You do have some exceptional licorice I will stock up on though! I am also not a fan of Mexico or Hawaii, those were business trips which may have something to do with my feelings!! Have you been to the garden show? Any tips? While hiking through the SW this summer, we met a lovely couple from Dover-wish we would have gotten their information so we could meet up. Border Collies are so smart & busy, we had a border collie/basset mix when my girls were little-what a hoot. He had the body of a basset, but markings of the bc. Wow your garden is lovely! That's in Bothell? It looks like Hawaii! What a nice job you have done. Enjoy your time, there should be some lovely gardens, perhaps pick up some specialty seeds for mailing or hand carrying. |

try the bassetts allsorts!bad for blood pressure but wonderful for those tastebuds. they had a one off garden show once that we went to in wales it was amazing.i dont like london but love the country..we spend alot of time looking for open spaces to wonder in.i did get my organic food from covent garden for awhile tho.untill they priced themselves out. You sure do alot of traveling - how very cool! Wonderful photos on your site - I noticed Costa Rica. Any advice on traveling there? I am planning a trip this summer - somewhere tropical! Have a Great Weekend ... your Luffa seeds are on their way! Debbie in IL :-) |

Costa Rica is wonderful and I have all kinds of suggestions-you can PM(if that's the term) me w/your questions. Yes, we do travel a lot. I was a young widow and my late husband instilled in our girls & I to enjoy life-do not wait! We treasure every experience & feel very blessed.
