About garden98011

Gardening has always been very therapeutic.  By being close to God's creation, we seem to solve a plethora of concerns digging in the dirt.  I originally started with an English garden which over the years has morphed into a combination of traditional & contemporary.

I really enjoy spending time with my other gardening friends finding new nurseries since my children (mostly grown) and husband find no excitement in the adventure!  If you know of any great ones around, please let me know.

My favorite local nurseries are:  Wells Medina (Bellevue) and Christianson's (Mt. Vernon), one in Tacoma specializing in tropicals is fantastic as well, Jungle Fever Exotics.

My favorite mail-order: Plant Delights  and Brian's Botanicals
