About garden98011

Gardening has always been very therapeutic.  By being close to God's creation, we seem to solve a plethora of concerns digging in the dirt.  I originally started with an English garden which over the years has morphed into a combination of traditional & contemporary.    I really enjoy spending time with my other gardening friends finding new nurseries since my children (mostly grown) and husband find no excitement in the adventure!  If you know of any great ones around, please let me know. My favorite local nurseries are:  Wells Medina (Bellevue) and Christianson's (Mt. Vernon), one in Tacoma specializing in tropicals is fantastic as well, Jungle Fever Exotics. For those of you into the unusual, you MUST try Far Reaches Farm. They are located in Port Townsend, Washington which is a lovely destination. They also have a quality mail-order service. My favorite mail-order: Far Reaches Farm and Brian's Botanicals Why does this format not allow paragraphs?????? Slightly irritating. ;)

Oh, if I MUST!!!
Last week my husband said he wanted the garage back and that I needed a greenhouse.  My plant room tucked in the back of our garage did not work so well due to low light conditions.  We have glass garage doors so I slowly moved the plants into on...
