I have not figured out how yet to add my interests on my profile so i guess i will add it here.

I am an Artist, I do oil paintings, oil pastels, pen and ink, charcoal and pencil.  I am also a poet. 

I enjoy the outdoors, gardening of course, but not as much as i used to due to my arthritis in my knees & hips.  So now I try to find other ways to make it easier for me, I will not give it up, both my grandmothers gardened in their late 80's.

I love wolves, celtic stuff, music, reading, crocheting, sewing, cross stitching and will soon be working on woodworking with my finacee.  We have many plans for doing things out of our apt til we can someday get a home of our own.

I enjoy koontz, king, the cat who did things books.  Comedies, scarey movie series.  Quiet times when i can get them, the woods, waterfalls, rivers or streams. 

I love antiques and have a few.  I am very sentimental over things, i have clocks my grandfather made, and my grandmothers singer 221 featherweight machine. 

I have a 22 yr old son who lives on his own.  He is artistic like his mama. 

Where i live its got over 100,000 people but still not much to do here, mainly bowling and movies. I used to be on a bowling league.  Or used to go spelunking or rock hounding.

Let me Introduce Myself

Hi, I am Lish from Kentucky.  I have been gardening ever since I was a little girl with both of my grandmothers helping them in their gardens.  Watching them plant, harvest, clean, cook or can things.

I have since then had many types of gardens of my own, but long for a place of my own to have a much larger garden so i can produce more to can or freeze.

I am engaged to a wonderful man who supports my talents and my dreams.  He is a husband in training, we have been together for 4 yrs and 5 months as of this month. He is now living with me as of Dec 2007. 

We have a loving kitty named Montana, who is a beautiful maine coon.  We had another one his brother but he passed away a yr or so ago, he was an american shorthair but with similar colorings of his brother montana.

Humidity is always bad in kentucky during the summer and little rain.  I am presently only growing 2 tomato plants, one beefsteak and a grape tomato, plus one pepper plant.

But I have planted several ground flowering plants and i already had a lot of flowering bushes such as butterfly bushes, lilacs, crape myrtles, spirea, think thats all.

would do more but not enough room and im renting, need i say more, lol.

Im one of those people who has gardening in her blood and needs to garden. Burpees catalog is my wish book.
