About flowerlady

Hi, I am really new at this gardening thing.  This year I planted my first veggie garden and we had a LOT of rain and it was very cool so I didn't know when to plant outside.  My plants are growing, however, I find I have a lot of new "assistants" in the form of squirrels, rabbits and racoons!  I son't have to worry about where to spend my vacation as i will continue working in my garden.  i wouls lie to start a flowerbed in another area of my yard but it is shady and I want the kind of flowers that come back every year and bloom at different times of the year.
