If the plant is hard to pull up and often breaks off in your hand, its a weed, if it is easy to pull up, it is your plant and you have to replant it.
I spent lots of time replanting my plants today.

In the fall I put markers next to my plants, so when they go dormant, I know in the spring when things come up, that there should be a plant there. I also found the best time to weed is after a rain, they are much easier to pull. |

I too have found that digging around in the dirt is easier after a heavy rain...also a bit more messy. :o) |
