About edensong

Besides a love of gardening, I enjoy photography, traveling, music, spending time with family and friends. I am an organic skin care formulator, which carries over into my cooking and gardening -- and overall lifestyle.

We moved out in the country outside of Nashville this past year, so I'll learning a "new space" all over again (after 20 years at our previous home). I have oodles of photos uploaded from my old gardens, most of which I was able to salvage and move to the new property. Most of my gardens get a goodly amount of shade, but I have spots of sun. It makes it quite a challenge growing sun-loving plants, but I've found it can be done. Herbs and flowers are my passion, but I have enjoyed growing veggies in the past. As time permits, I hope to clear an area that has more sun, so that we can grow more of our own veggies.

This looks like a wonderful site and I look forward to making many new friends from around the world~!
