We puttered in the morning hours yesterday,

with hubby feeling pretty good with a major accomplishment of getting his gravel where it needed to go and spread. While the boys did that, I picked another rounded quart of blueberries. Then did some mowing while the sun was shining.Glad I did, as I didnt listen to the weather report of today being rain. Landon helped me in the new little bed connecting the big beds,spread some more loam in there, and then I planted in the corners-2 Lavendar,1 Pinks, and plunked in my colandar of Thyme. Watered everything real good including the veggie beds. My old Lavendar plants I think have about had it. We decided to just go swimming and save the fishing for another day. Dropped off the berries at his sisters, and came home all worn out from swimming. A quick supper,but not before I nodded off on the couch while watching the news. A good rain all night, and everythings soaked real good-yippee!. and its still raining. I hope it rains most of the day. The blueberry cookies,were actually scones or drop biscuits. They came out real good too. I made a double batch and froze 1/2. Then I came across a recipe for Honey Wheat yeast rolls, that was simple to make,and decided to try that before the pie. Oh-wow, am I ever glad I did. Making the dough in the bread machine,then cutting them out with a large cutter, and letting them rise for an hour,was a fairly fast one. I mowed the lawn while the machine was making the dough. That one is a keeper,the rolls were light and fluffy and made great sandwich rolls too. Today I will make the pie finally. I think more cukes are ready, and suppose to rain all morning weather guy said but sun/clearing this afternoon..another yippee!! more humidity rolling in this week, not good. well, at least we had a good time swimming,and a good overall tuesday...
